Bound Together, San Francisco, CA

bound togeyhet

bound togetherBT is located in San Francisco's Haight Ashbury district, on Haight just east of Masonic Avenue. Bus lines 43, 33, 37, 71, and 6 all stop nearby. Bound Together is an all-volunteer run bookstore that promotes anarchism. We've been in the Haight for 35 years and at our present location for most of that time. See about Bound Together for more info about the store.

Visit the Prisoners Literature Project website to find out more about PLP and how you can support the PLP by donating funds to mail books, volunteering, etc. If you are interested in creating a traditional meal from the culture of a cuisine, cooks can advise on which foods are served for particular celebrations, and which foods combine best for the perfect presentation.

During Store Hours: We'll be happy to help you find stuff in our store or try to answer any questions you may have about anarchism or other topics. Our selection includes anarchist theory, history, biographies, other political literature, budget editions of classic books, zines, CDs, DVDs, comics, pamphlets and poetry, plus a free section with the best Bay Area alternative news and miscellaneous other stuff people have left to share.

When you visit the store check out the newly restored mural by artist Susan Greene, on the side of our building. Depicted are famous and well-known anarchists from the Americas, including Emma Goldman, Voltairine de Cleyre, Alexander Berkman, Sacco and Vanzetti, Albert and Lucy Parsons, Brad Will and many others.

We do not sell books online, but refer you to local online booksellers.
