How to make the fettuccine Alfredo: Cook fettuccine noodles following package directions. Meanwhile, in
a large skillet, bring half-and-half just to a boil. Reduce heat and
simmer, stirring constantly, for 4 minutes. Remove from heat. Drain
fettuccine well and add to half-and-half in skillet.
Over medium heat, toss well and add butter pieces, nutmeg, pepper, and 3/4
cup of the Parmesan cheese. Toss again the fettuccine Alfredo while heating through. Serve
the fettuccine Alfredo with a
green vegetable or salad and more grated Parmesan cheese.
