With about 300 sunny days a year this mountainous area is certainly favored by the weather gods.

Springtime, when the Alpine meadows are covered by a sea of flowers, summer when lush pastures and shady woods offer cozy spots for a little rest, fall, when thousands of leave covering the entire table-land shine in the most fascinating colors.

Hiking, mountain biking, free climbing, tennis, swimming, riding, golf… there is hardly an activity which cannot be practiced in the area.

Also for spending a great winter holiday, the Ski Center Latemar and the Sky Area Carezza, both connected with the Dolomiti Superski skiing area, offer 90 km of slopes for both skiers and snowboarders.

South Tyrol’s Rosengarten-Latemar resort area extends over two lateral valleys (Eggental and Tiers) situated in the southwestern Dolomites.
