The Health center Fonte Pudia
spring in Arta Terme proposes holidays designed for
relaxation and for psychophysical wellbeing: not only via
fitness workouts and spa treatment, but also by finding ones
inner balance again, away from daily stress, whilst in the
middle of the Carnia countryside.
The ancient Romans, who founded the nearby Iulium Carnicum
(today known as Zuglio) as well as the Venetian and Friulan
nobility knew of these waters’ healing powers, still
excellent today but with an added benefit: a spa holiday in
Arta is also seen as a form of entertainment, of culture and
above all of relaxation. Another illustrious guest in the
past was Giosuč Carducci who describes in a few of his poems
the charm Carnia and this valley had over him.

Today the waters of the ancient Fonte
Pudia spring are at the root of all remedies and treatments
taking place at the Arta spa resort, which, alongside the
traditional departments, also offers the possibility for one
to fortify oneself in the sauna, swimming pool, with
massages, beauty treatments, fitness workouts…
