Bolzano surroundings: the winestrasseAndrian_Andriano: Wine, yew tree forests and other special interestsAndrian, one of the smallest hamlets in South Tyrol, is situated in the orchards of the valley 'Etschtal' on 285 m above sea level. The beautiful landscape invites to follow the varied walking and hiking paths. All the good things the cellarers produce can be tasted in the local wine cellar. Wine seminars with visits to the vineyards give insight into the world of wines. And during the harvest time for asparagus, gourmets find numerous restaurants in the surrounding area which organize special asparagus weeks. Typical for Andrian is also the red porphyry. It has been cut since 1917.
A special experience
