Fortresses, castles and noble residences determine
the scenery around Eppan. Many vineyards with lovely wine villages are found
all around this area. The municipality of Eppan is the largest wine-growing
area in South Tyrol. Everything reflects the gentle fragrance and the light
of the south: the fascinating Mediterranean scenery and the typical
architecture, as well as the easy-going and happy life style of its
inhabitants.
 Eppan has more than a dozen wine cellars. Well-known
cellarers produce top wines, which have international recognition. You can
visit wine cellars and enjoy some tasting of exquisite wines.
In this region, you will find many castles,
fortresses and historic residences - more than anywhere else in Europe. Of
course, this allows for voluptuous dining and lodging. Dine like kings and
knights and enjoy the best of the best with the southern sun always at your
side.
