Leifers is a small city, only 8 km from Bozen, with
Mediterranean flair and lots of green areas. It is situated in the middle of
the enormous apple growing area of the southern part of South Tyrol.
Branzoll is a fruit-growing village with ancient
manor houses and genuine 'Unterland' village life style.
Pfatten is a very beautiful place and its main
attraction is the famous lake 'Kalterer See'
From Leifers, Branzoll and Pfatten you can go
anywhere without problems. You can go to the lake area of 'Überetsch', can
visit the worlds famous Dolomites, you can visit Bozen, the capital of South
Tyrol, with its museums and theaters. In beautiful one day trips you can go
South if you want to visit Venice, Verona, Trient or the lake 'Gardasee'.
This favorable location close to the Mediterranean
climate makes motor biking from March right into November an unforgettable
experience: well-known mountain passes such as the Karer Pass, the Jaufen
Pass and the Mendel Pass are waiting to be 'conquered'.
