Bolzano surroundings: the winestrasse
Tramin_Termeno: Home of the Gewürztraminer
Beautiful residences with oriels and stone archways and manor-like farmhouses. Colorful house facades, quiet
village wells and winding streets in a southern light. All around softly ascending vineyards. The wide and hilly
vineyard scenery with cypress trees breathes the fragrance and colors of the south. Just as the people who live
here. Their rhythm of life is determined by the southern easiness and the pleasant aroma of the fine 'Gewürztraminer'.
Tramin is the home of this type of wine, from where it conquered the world.

The village's landmark is the Gothic parish church. The bell tower is more than 80 meters high and it's the highest
stonewall bell tower in South Tyrol. The Roman church of St. Jakob in Kastelaz above Tramin houses a cycle of frescoes,
which are one of the oldest in the entire German-speaking area.
A special experience:
• Taste the new wine in one of the winding streets and talk shop about God and the world, the weather and the grape harvest …
• Enjoy a breathtaking concert in the castle ...
• Walk through never-ending vineyards and orchards, passing historic farms and more …
