Tango in the USA- Where to Learn and Dance tango

Tango in the USA
USA Regions – © worldatlas.com

Tango in the USA is very well appreciated and danced. Its popularity started with the show Tango Argentino in the 1980s and exploded at the end of the year 1990 when the show Forever Tango toured the entire country.
This directory Tangoitalia-Tango-in-the-USA consolidates information from many regional and local lists. They were created and are maintained with an excellent effort, dedication, and personal sacrifice by a score of volunteers all across the country. I tried to give them the credits they deserve; I’m sure I missed to mention several names, please let me know when this is the case to allow me to correct my mistake. Email me at enricomassetti@msn.com with the missing info.

I created the directory to facilitate traveling tangueros to find tango wherever they go. Visiting teachers will also benefit from it, and so will tango musicians.
The directory is entirely free of charge.

Tango in the USA

Tango in the USA: credits for TangoMango
TangoMango is a free community calendar for Argentine tango dancers to find information about milongas, classes, and related events. Because it is a community site, anyone can post events, and all updates are published instantly!
David Hundsness launched TangoMango in January 2006 for the San Francisco Bay Area, and since then it has spread to Southern California, Florida, and Chicago, thanks to brave volunteers. David built this for fun and run it for free as a donation to the tango community. Now Bay Area Argentine Tango Association has taken over TangoMango for the future.
This page of Tango-world uses TangoMango links at the state level, you can use TangoMango with a much detailed resolution, it’s a really powerful and unique tool.
